Arrows on screen

I remember those days when two arrows used to fly towards each other in slow motion and then stand still, facing each other. One would then disappear. One shooter then breaks into a ground splitting laughter. Well that was Ramanantha Sagar's Sree Krishna. And today we have 300, Exodus etc.

Lost and found

I don't exactly remember when, may be I was in the third standard. I found a fifty paise coin in the playground. I took it and ran to the office, to find none. Then walked in our Guitar sir (that's how we called him). I handed him the coin with some degree of pride. Lost and found. "Good boy", he complemented and walked away slipping it into his pocket.

A 'threading' in time saves nine

Bored sitting inside his parked car, waiting for his wife to return from a beauty parlor, the husband, a physician walked to a nearby lab and ran a routine blood test. Just to kill time.

The result was abnormal and subsequently he diagnosed an early cancer getting ready in him. Caught it right in the budding stage and killed it.

So the next time your wife wants to go to the parlour, don't say no.
